Hello, my name is Ruth Segaud (pronounced Say-go. Don’t worry, you’re not the first to ask). I may have adopted a difficult to pronounce surname from my part French husband, but I am Scottish girl through and through. Having spent the best part of our twenties living in Manchester and London, in 2017 Michael and I decided the time was right to make the final move back to Scotland where we both grew up. We chose to make the fair city of Perth our new home, just in time for the arrival of our beautiful baby girl. You’ll probably see her little squishy cheeks feature a lot on these pages, she’s too cute not to share.
I have worked in the wedding industry since 2011, running my music business – The Dotted Crotchets String Quartet. I LOVE weddings. I love working at weddings. I love being a guest at weddings. I love church weddings. I love tipi weddings. I love Spring weddings. I love Winter weddings. I just love weddings. I also love taking photographs, so moving into wedding photography was always the dream.
My photography is not just limited to weddings. From the arrival of a newborn baby, to an afternoon at the park, there are so many opportunities to document your family and create a collection of images that you will cherish. Have a look at my newborn and family sessions to find out more.
