Hey, I’m Ruth Segaud (pronounced say-go!), it’s great to meet you.

I’ve always loved taking photographs. I was the one with a camera in my hand at school parties and the one who took headshots of friends at music college. For me it’s not so much about creating pieces of art (although thankfully my photography is a lot more creative now!), it’s about documenting memories. My camera roll is my diary, and I feel very privileged that my amazing couples and families allow me to document the everyday and not-so-everyday moments for them.

3. I love travelling and have spent time teaching in Thailand and backpacking in India. Holidays with the kids are a bit less wild now… you’re more likely to find us in a caravan somewhere in Scotland!

I also trained with Musique et Santé in Paris, worked as a musician in Manchester Children’s Hospital and completed an Early Years Postgraduate Certificate!

The man is wearing a dark blazer over a light blue shirt, and the woman is wearing a black jacket with a floral top, holding a brown purse.
