GETTING HITCHED?

You’ve celebrated the engagement, binged the wedding blogs, and booked the perfect venue. Now it’s time to book your photographer… woohoo!

I know what you’re going to say… “we don’t like having our photo taken”. Trust me, you’re not the first and you won't be the last, but guess what, you might actually enjoy it! I shoot weddings in a mix of portrait and documentary style, which simply means I focus on capturing candid and natural shots throughout the day, with some gentle guidance during your couple and family shots.

FAQs

how do we book?

I’m so happy you are considering me for your big day… if you’ve not already done so you can complete the contact form to check my availability. Once you’re happy to go ahead with the booking I kindly request a non-refundable booking fee of £375 for the Full Day package, or £200 for the hourly rate to secure the date, and the remaining balance will be due 4 weeks before the wedding.

how do we receive our images?

The day after the wedding you will receive access to your personal password protected gallery, which will include around 10 preview images to download and share with your friends and family. Within 6 weeks of the wedding (although often quicker!) your gallery will then be updated to include all final curated images.

do you take formal group shots?

Family and group photos are something I think are worth documenting, but equally they’re completely optional if you’d rather skip them. I like to keep things relaxed and informal, and usually suggest limiting these to around 10 groups so it doesn’t take over your day. Depending on numbers, this normally takes about 30–45 minutes during the drinks reception, leaving you plenty of time to grab a drink and enjoy the celebrations.

can we print the photos?

Absolutely! Although I retain the copyright to all images, you will receive standard printing permission. This means that you won’t be able to sell, modify or use the images commercially, but you, and your friends and family, are able to share and print as many as you like for personal use.

To make life even easier you’ll have the option to purchase professional quality prints directly through your gallery.

do you offer a second shooter option?

Shooting a wedding on my own gives me the ability to blend into the background, allowing for a more unobtrusive and candid approach to my photography style. It also allows me to maintain a consistent style throughout your gallery. For these reasons I do not usually offer a second shooter option, but if this is something that concerns you please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

do we need to provide anything on the day?

For the full day package I will take a break once dinner is served (no-one wants a photograph of themselves with a mouthful of food!), so a hot meal and soft drink somewhere quiet would be really appreciated during this time.

PRE-WEDDING SESSION

Booking a pre-wedding photography session is the perfect opportunity to have a little practice in front of the camera before the big day. We’ll spend up to an hour at an outdoor location of your choice (travel included within 35 miles of Perth) and you’ll receive all final images via your online gallery within 2 weeks of the session. You can even use the images for your save the dates!

Don’t leave your wedding images stored on a hard-drive, give them the attention they deserve with a handcrafted photo album in a choice of beautiful covers and a range of sizes.

Professional quality prints and other products can also be purchased directly through your wedding gallery.
